Whole School Homework
At Alderbrook we have introduced a homework programme for Key Stage 3, with the focus being:
Students are provided with a purple exercise book, and they receive guidance in PSHE lessons on good study habits and techniques that can help them to revise.
Each term students carry out revision work in their exercise book using the termly guidance sheets (these can be accessed on this page and in the student planners).
At the end of each term, Form Tutors will assess the work of their students and award them homework stars in their planner.
These stars will go towards certificates that the students will be awarded in celebration assemblies each term.
