As the SENDCo at Alderbrook, I am available to meet with parents and carers, to discuss how to support our young people with their learning, social interaction and communication. My team and I do all that we can, to make the appropriate adjustments for those that need them and to make provision to meet the individual needs of our young people with barriers to their learning.
It is our intention to work in partnership with the families of our young people, to ensure the best outcomes for them in school. To that end, here are some suggestions for resources and strategies to use at home. These have been recommended to us by the professionals from the external agencies who work with us and advise us in the support of students.
