Entry Requirements

Candidates should normally be sixteen years of age, but not yet seventeen on 1 September.
Five 9-5 GCSEs will be required including English and Mathematics.

If you do not achieve the grades you expected or had hoped for, it will be important to seek advice from our enrolment team on GCSE Results Day. In some circumstances, and dependent on your choices of A Level subjects exceptions may be made, however it should be noted that this is very rare.

Guidance Meetings

It is usual practice for applicants to be invited to a meeting with a member of the Sixth Form Team to discuss their application and choice of subjects.

Offers

Conditional offers will be made once a guidance interview has taken place and references received. The deadline for accepting the conditional offer will be stated in your individual offer letter.

Enrolment

GCSE results are published in August each year. Those students who successfully meet the entrance requirements will be welcome to register their interest to join our Sixth Form on GCSE results day itself. Internal students are welcome between 9-12noon, straight after collection of results, and we welcome external students between 1-3pm on the same day. Further details will be sent with your conditional offer.
