GCSE RESULTS 2023

Congratulations to our Year 11s who have achieved fantastic GCSE results; we are extremely proud of them. These students have faced many challenges over the last few years but have remained resilient and have worked hard throughout.

GCSE and vocational qualification results remained high this year.  In many areas, results were much improved on the last formal examination window of 2019 and remain on a par with results during the pandemic. Many students have achieved the very top grades in a range of subjects, whilst others have made incredible progress at Alderbrook.

The success of the students has ensured that the huge majority of them have gained a place at their destinations of choice. A large number have enrolled into Alderbrook Sixth Form and we are delighted that they will remain a part of our school community for the next two years. Some students will be leaving Alderbrook to take up exciting opportunities elsewhere at local schools, colleges and businesses.

There is so much to celebrate after such a period of disruption; pupils and staff have worked incredibly hard, and this has resulted in great success for individuals and an all-round sense of joy and achievement.

Alderbrook’s Headteacher, Tom Beveridge, said: “We are incredibly proud of our students. These results are a culmination of five years of hard work and they have truly lived out the school values of Ambition, Bravery and Kindness. This Year 11 cohort is a group of brilliant individual young people who will go on to do great things. Congratulations to all of them.”
