I would like to thank all the staff and students for the support, empathy and kindness that they had demonstrated towards one another, and I would like to wish the students the very best of luck on their next steps, whatever they may be.”
Frankie Bryan, Director of Sixth Form, said: “It is common knowledge that young people are having a particularly difficult time at the moment, with a huge rise in difficulties around mental health. The Sixth Form staff here at Alderbrook have watched this year group battle and show outstanding levels of resilience over the last two years. They have embodied our school values of Ambition, Bravery and Kindness and we are so proud of the results they have achieved, but we are particularly proud of the well-rounded, caring individuals that they have become, ready to face the next chapter in their lives. A huge shout-out to our parents and carers who play such a crucial role too, supporting our young people and the very special community we have created here at Alderbrook, we really hope you enjoy your results day celebrations.”
