Dear Parents and Carers,
My retirement has finally arrived, and this is my last day at Alderbrook. I want to say a final farewell and thank you to all of you. I have been extremely grateful for the support that you have shown to Alderbrook, it is a most amazing school. You have impressed me even more as you have responded so admirably to the pandemic which has thrown all our plans in the bin and put our lives on hold. We have all had to change the way we do everything, to ensure everyone stays safe. You have had to step in and support your child’s continued education now more than you ever did before, and I applaud you for that too.
Obviously my plans to travel are similarly placed on hold as my retirement starts, but I will be able to use the time to relax and reflect on the important things in my life ahead.
