Headteacher

Required for Easter 2020

Group 7 School

A rare opportunity has arisen to lead a successful, thriving and oversubscribed stand-alone academy in the popular location of Solihull – frequently named as one of the best places to live in the UK.

The governors of Alderbrook School are seeking to appoint an exceptional leader who will build upon the successes of the retiring Headteacher, supported by a committed and loyal staff body.

With the introduction of a Sixth Form in 2015 and an emerging plan to grow admissions in the lower school, the successful applicant will have the opportunity to lead on the next phase of Alderbrook’s new and exciting expansion programme.

Applications are welcomed from Headteachers and exemplary Deputy Headteachers who can demonstrate that they are able to:

  • ensure every student develops the knowledge and skills they need for their future life
  • inspire and retain a strong staff body
  • build effective relationships with parents, other schools and the wider community
  • fully immerse themselves in the unique ethos that Alderbrook enjoys as a stand-alone academy
